Barbara Ann Scott

Of Wilkins Twp., age 81, passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, February 26, 2026.

Barb was the loving wife of the late James “Tom” Scott for 45 years.

She was the beloved mother of Thomas Scott of Wilkins Twp.

Barb was the sister of Charles Earnest of Swissvale and the late Bob (surviving spouse, Sandie) Earnest.

She was the aunt of Susan Ryan and her children, Hailey and Christopher.

Barb was a 1961 graduate of Mt. Alvernia High School and, for more than 40 years, she was employed as a secretary for the Pathology Department of West Penn Hospital.

Barb was delighted to travel and she was an avid reader. She also enjoyed listening and dancing to her favorite oldies. Barb frequently found meaning as a volunteer for assorted and worthwhile causes.

All are welcome on Sunday from 1-5 pm at Patrick T. Lanigan Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., Turtle Creek / Monroeville Chapel, 1111 Monroeville Ave., Turtle Creek, 412-823-9350 where a Blessing Service will be held on Sunday at 5pm.

In keeping with the spirit of Barb’s volunteer activities, memorial donations may be made to the non-profit or charity of one’s choice.
